Social media content for hairdressers

Your cuts are worth more than stock images. Show them off.

You already photograph the results in the chair. Publiqo turns them into Stories, Posts and Carousels in your salon colours, one week at a time.

Publiqo composed these examples from stock photos, because we don't have yours yet. That is exactly the point: the engine doesn't invent images, it dresses them. With your photos, the result is yours.

Before-and-after is the strongest social content there is, and a hairdresser produces one with every appointment. Publiqo gathers those photographs — results, colour details, hands at work — and turns them each week into Stories, Posts, Carousels and Reels with captions and hashtags already written. No image is generated: it’s your hair, your clients, your light. Sixty-nine euros a month; a freelancer doing the same would charge 300 to 500.

What to post, when you don't know what to post

Three threads your trade produces by itself, every week, without having to invent them.

01

Before and after

It’s the kind of content that stops the scroll, and you produce one with every appointment. The only thing you need is the same light and the same angle in both photos — Publiqo takes care of the rest, caption included.

02

Colour, properly shown

Balayage, lightening, toners: anyone looking for a colourist wants to see real tones, not a catalogue. One well-shot detail is worth more than ten lines about a ‘personalised service’.

03

Hands at work

The technical gesture — foils, brush, blow-dry — shows skill without boasting about it. It’s also the easiest kind of content to capture while you work, because you don’t need anyone’s permission.

Why the photos have to be yours

In no trade more than this one can you spot a fake photo straight away. Anyone looking for a hairdresser is deciding whether to trust you with their hair: they want to see real hair, on real people, photographed in your salon with your light. An image generated by artificial intelligence — or taken from a stock library — shows a result that nobody has ever actually had from you. Here, a real photo isn’t a stylistic choice: it’s proof.

The maths, plainly

Having someone do it

300–500 € a month

Doing it with Publiqo

69per month

Anyone managing social media for a hairdresser charges between 300 and 500 € a month for eight to twelve pieces of content. The Light plan lines up roughly three times as many for 69 €, and in a trade where one client stays for years, two new heads are enough to cover a year’s subscription.

What a hairdresser should post in a week

You don’t need to post every day. You need a rhythm you can keep up even in busy weeks — and these four posts cover everything a client wants to know before booking.

Start of the weekA before-and-after from the best appointment of the week: it’s the kind of content that brings in bookings.
MidweekA technical detail — lightening, a blow-dry — with two lines explaining the choice behind it.
Thursday or FridayThe salon and the people: who works there, what the atmosphere is like. Anyone booking wants to know where they’re walking into.
End of the weekA care tip for between appointments: it keeps you in the client’s mind even when they’re not in the chair.

Questions

Do I need to be good at taking photos?

No. The photos you already take on your phone are enough: Publiqo crops them, adapts them to the right format and builds the visual around them. Just one tip: for before-and-afters, use the same light and the same position — that’s the only thing the software can’t fix.

Do I need the client’s consent to publish their photo?

Yes, and that’s your responsibility: identifiable people must be informed and must agree. Publiqo doesn’t publish anything on your behalf — it creates the files, and you’re the one who publishes them when you have the go-ahead.

What if my salon already has its own visual identity?

Then it uses it. You set colours, fonts and logo once in the Brand Kit and every piece of content follows them. If you already work with a graphic designer, you can start from their templates too.

How does the trial work?

Seven days to try everything: upload photos and generate content. The card is only asked at the end, and if you don't continue we charge you nothing.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from your account, with no phone calls or forms. The content already produced stays yours and you can download it whenever you want.

Does Publiqo post for me?

No, and that is a choice. It produces ready files — images, videos, captions and hashtags — and you publish them: no access to your profiles, no risk to your account. It's the last touch, and it takes thirty seconds.

What language is the content in?

The language you choose for the brand, regardless of the language you use the app in. If you work in two languages, open two brands.

Next week is already done.

You upload the photos, you find the content ready. Seven days to try, no card until the end.
